As someone from the South, I’ve seen it firsthand — they think that God made them inferior, and that they are to “accept their place”. This is a result of the oppression that comes from traditional gender roles. I’ve seen so many women, including members of my family, give up their dreams because it wasn’t their “role” to do what they wanted to do. Screw traditional gender roles, Santorum, and oppression.

Sadly though, many women agree with the GOP’s stance on women’s rights. As someone from the South, I’ve seen it firsthand — they think that God made them inferior, and that they are to “accept their place”.
